- Former Board Member and Technical Committee Chairman at GCC CIGRE.
- Former Board Member of the Saudi Scientific Society of Electrical Engineers.
- Former IEEE Saudi Arabia Section member and Steering Committee member.
- Author of numerous research papers related to electrical power systems.
- Has more than 30 years of experience in the field of electric power systems.
- Recipient of the Rafik Hariri Arab Award for Operation and Maintenance in 2006.
- Received the Best Paper Award multiple times within GCC CIGRE activities.
- Awarded the title of Distinguished Member by CIGRE-France in 2006.
